From being mentioned in an article to having your own TV show, we'll talk about the 'ins and outs' and what's right for each agent. (Short bios for reviewers) Alexa Kebalo Hughes, a second generation Realtor, has been a contributor on several media outlets including news networks such as NBC, WFSB, Inside Edition and many local and national newspapers and outlets. Most recently she's been asked to be a weekly contributor on the "Great Day at 9a" show on WFSB – Channel 3 Eyewitness News. Currently Alexa is serving as the 2023 Vice President at the Connecticut Association of REALTORS®, Vice Chair of the NAR Medium State Forum, and is currently a member of the NAR Leadership Academy. She is also a past Realtor Magazine 30 under 30. Gary Rogers is a 30 year veteran who has served in various capacities in association work, but of note as an NAR Director, State president and NAR RVP. As part of those positions, he has attended numerous media training and has been interviewed by or contributed to various media including TV, print, trade magazines, cable and social media news sources. Currently, Gary is the Immediate past chair of the NAR Leadership Advisory Group, a Director at his state association and a Director of the Realtor Relief Foundation. Felicia Beltran is a 16 year veteran, who's knowledge of the power of publicity and public relations started well before real estate. While studying mass communications in college, she worked for the Director of External Affairs, providing support for the media and community relations. Entering real estate during a recession, Felicia recognized how important publicity and branding as a way to stand out, was key to success. Fast forward, she has become a resource for the local media, as well as using her skills in her charitable work, by understanding the value of being the story teller.
