Establishing your value to your consumer should be rooted in stewardship. A great steward just doesn't manage a client in the transaction, they work to ensure that their involvement results in their client, their community, and/or their industry being held at a higher level because of their efforts and involvement. In a post lawsuit world, where buyer broker contracts may be more than a recommendation, but a requirement, buyer consumers may be interviewing multiple people, much like sellers currently do. The ability to express your value and communicate what makes you and your level of service not just different but essential in protecting and promoting the interest of your client is crucial in building your future buyer base of business.
