eXplore NAR Sweepstakes Official Rules

2023 Explore NAR Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 7:00 AM PT on November 14, 2023, and ends at 3:00 PM PT on November 16, 2023 (“Entry Period”).

You must be a registered attendee (either Premier Access, One-Day, or Expo Only) of the 2023 NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience, a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States, District of Columbia, or U.S. Territories, and at least 18 years of age or older at time of entry and drawing(s). Employees of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), including their immediate families (parents, spouses, children, siblings, and each of their parents, spouses, children, and siblings) and household members (whether or not related), are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is not open to the general public.

QR Code Entry

• To enter the Daily Drawing(s), use the App to scan at least one (1) QR Code at any one of the designated stops. Limit of (1) entry. More than one (1) QR Code entry will not increase the chances of winning in daily drawing(s).
• To enter the Grand Prize Drawing, use the App to scan at least ten (13) QR Codes at the designated stops (one QR code per designated stop) by 3:00 pm PT on November 16, 2023. Limit of ten (13) entries. More than ten (10) QR Code entries will not increase the chances of winning in the grand prize drawing.

Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE)

• Send an email to convinfo@nar.realtor as indicated herein. The email must contain all and only the following information: Subject Line: “2023 Explore NAR Sweepstakes”, Body of Email: your registration confirmation number, your full name, street address, telephone number, and email address. Limit of (1) entry. The AMOE will be one entry in the daily drawing(s) and the grand prize drawing.

No responsibility is assumed for the lost, late, incomplete, or ineligible entries. Late entries will not be eligible.

Daily Drawings

The Sweepstakes will consist of multiple drawings:

At least one (1) drawing will be held daily between November 14 – 16, 2023. Each drawing will consist of one (1) prize of the following prizes: (i) VIP Meet and Greet with a General Session speaker and two (2) Front Row Seats at the General Session, (ii) $25 REALTOR® Store Gift Card, (iii) Cut the Line Pass, or (iv) Free Playback NAR Upgrade (total approximate value $465). Entrants are eligible to win only one prize in each daily drawing.

Grand Prize Drawing

One (1) grand prize drawing on or about November 16, 2023. The drawing will consist of one (1) prize bundle (Premier Access registration for the 2025 NAR NXT in Boston, $100 REALTOR® Store credit, and priority selection of hotel in Boston (total approximate value $550)). Each entrant is eligible to win only one prize in the Grand Prize Drawing.

Prize(s) is non-transferable, no substitution of the prize will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the prize with either the cash value of the prize that would have been awarded or a prize of equal or greater value in the event the prize bundle become unavailable for any reason. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Winners will be notified via push notification in the 2023 NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience App or e-mail. Winners must accept prizes in-person at the 2023 NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release within five (5) days of notification. If affidavit and release are not signed and returned within five (5) days or if the prize notification is returned to Sponsor as undeliverable, then an alternative winner will be selected. All prizes will be awarded. Applicable prizes will be sent to winners via email. In the event, NAR cannot confirm the eligibility of the winner, a requested affidavit and/or release is not signed and returned within five (5), or if the prize notification is returned to NAR as undeliverable, then an alternative eligible winner will be selected.

Winners, by accepting a prize, agree that the prize is awarded on the condition that NAR and its agents, officers, directors, representatives, and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of the prize or participation in the Sweepstakes. Winner further acknowledges that NAR has not made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for the warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or law, relative to the prize including but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness. All entries submitted become the property of NAR and will not be acknowledged or returned. By participating, entrants agree to these official rules, and that the decision of the judges is final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Any taxes imposed upon a prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

Entrants consent to being contacted by NAR by phone, including text message, for anything related to this Sweepstakes. Winners, where lawful, grant permission for the use of winner’s name, voice, city, state and photograph or videotape for advertising and promotional purposes in conjunction with this and similar promotions without additional compensation.

If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, or fraud beyond the control of NAR, which corrupts or affects the administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, NAR reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. NAR is not responsible for misdelivered or delayed entries, lost, miscommunications, or other errors of any kind. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes, as solely determined by NAR, will be disqualified. Any attempt to damage, tamper with, or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, is a violation of these Official Rules.

Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Illinois, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Entrant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be adjudicated in a court of law situated in Cook County, Illinois, and the entrant hereby submits to such jurisdiction.
