Upon successful completion of this session the attendee will have an increased knowledge and awareness of cultural and person biases that may inhibit them fully embracing diversity and creating a successful multicultural real estate business. The student will be able to define diversity, social inclusion, equity and culture and how understanding theses terms assist us in managing our everyday lives. The student will be able to distinguish between personal and implicit biases and how each can adversely shape our behaviors and perceptions when dealing with our clients. The student will examine the importance of embracing diversity, equity and inclusion on both a personal and professional level to create and grow a thriving and inclusive real estate business. The student will be able to explain the importance of mentoring, recruiting and performing meaningful outreach in their communities.
