Real Property Valuation Committee
Description
The Real Property Valuation Committee meets to evaluate, monitor, and analyze trends as they relate to real property valuation; develop policies and provide recommendations on valuation-related issues; identify, monitor, and recommend positions to new government regulations and guidance, as well as congressional actions and requests; identify, monitor, and recommend positions by other organizations and entities that may have jurisdiction over—or impact—real property valuation issues; and identify, monitor, and recommend positions in response to concept papers, exposure drafts, and other proposals issued by the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) and the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB). The committee will discuss these issues as well as other work currently happening in the committee.
