Every year, the National Association of REALTORS® publishes the 'Profile of International Residential Real Estate Activity' which examines important data and insights into the world of international transactions. The Certified International Property Specialist designation is now more relevant than ever, because of how our world is more connected than ever.
Yet, as an instructor, I have seen REALTORS® become intimidated by the word 'international' which is often simply not understanding what the 'international' specialization means. NAR’s Code of Ethics, Article 11 states, “REALTORS® who work with international clients/customers must be educated and be competent to work with these clients/customers.”
Through this networking session, the objective will be to recognize the basic elements of an international transaction and identify the basics of cultural and other aspects of working with global buyers and sellers.
